SHORT BIO

 

Australian born vocalist Evelyn Duprai has been singing professionally since 2005. Her freelance career began in September of that year when she began touring with the ARIA award winning electronic pop artist. Paul Mac. Just 12 months later, Evelyn found herself regularly touring as a guest soloist with the legendary Australian Jazz trumpeter, James Morrison with whom she still performs with to this present day.

These musical liaisons together her original projects opened the door for Evelyn to perform at some of the most prestigious venues Australia has to offer, and dozens of major music festivals. In fact, in 2008, Evelyn was invited to tour with another ARIA recipient for the Big Day Out Festival tour. This time it was with Australian rock band Silverchair.

No stranger to the world of television, Evelyn Duprai has also performed as a resident backing vocalist in the house bands of the ABC Network's The Side Show (with comedian Paul McDermott), Network TEN's Australian Idol, and has been invited to perform guest backing vocals on the Nine Network's, The Voice.
